Oboe or violin.
Oboe is definitely the hardest wind instrument and violin is definitely the hardest string instrument. I had a violin teacher from Russia and she said "In America the hardest instrument to play is the oboe. But in Russia the violin is the hardest instrument to play." I lean towards violin not just because I play it but if you think about it all you have to do with the oboe is learn the fingerings and the breath....(which does take a long time to get right). In violin you have to learn a lot of different fingerings and and they do not have keys you have to learn how to put your fingers on in the correct place. Violin also just has a lot of music written for it. (more than oboe). But it is a still a matter of opinion.
I've played the Oboe for a year, and now the bassoon-both double reed instruments. I actually think bassoon is much harder, although they're both double reeds, bassoon is a much bigger instrument, and requries a lot of patience, and a lot of musical ability. I don't know about the violin though!

Everyone has a unique style and no one can mimick that style perfectly. You could learn a lot of his songs and get a general feel of his style, but you can never play exactly like Slash.
I'd say folk, as classical style should be pure and true to the authors intent, whereas folk style is more to be interpreted by the player.
It depends on people.
Of course there are far too many variables and styles of playing to put one over another... But in my 14 years of playing guitar, I would have to say "Technical Difficulties" by Paul Gilbert would be the hardest I have attempted. I know, it's not classical style, but it is intensely hard to learn and play cleanly.
