I guess it's a matter of opinion. Some will say Black Metal, but Death Metal has a much thicker, heavier, more guttural sound in the vocals. Deathcore is pretty heavy too because they have deathgrowls, shrieks, blast beats, double kicks, way down tuned Guitars, you name it.
But when it comes down to it, the factor that makes them more extreme isn't the sound. It is the ideology of the band and the way they express it. Gorgoroth kicks everybody's a**
yes, it's based on opnion but Children of Bodom kicks everyones a** no doubt about it.
None. They fall into a metal subgenre called Nu-Metal
I recently came across this band. Their name is The Berzerker and they hail from Australia. This is the fastest shredding band I have ever heard. They are twice as heavy as Slipknot and 4 times as fast. You can check them out on MySpace. I think they are the heaviest band I've ever heard and I've been a Metalhead for over 30 years( I'm 51 years old). The heaviest heavy metal genre is death metal and black metal or a subgenre of them such as brutal death metal. Doom metal as well can be quite heavy - especially funeral doom or death/doom which is often slower and "thick" sounding kind of heavy. I think Berzerker is fast and chaotic but fastest doesn't mean heaviest. It is all anyone's game as to what band plays the heaviest metal music and in the end all comes down to personal preference.
That would be King Of All Kings by Hate Eternal.
Lamb of God do not like to be grouped into a single sub-genre of metal, hence their slogan "pure American metal" but if you had to put them into a category, id say their first albums (Burn the Priest and New American Gospel) were mostly Black Metal, and their newer stuff is almost Death Metal. hope this helps :)
Swedish band Dark Tranquillity plays melodic death metal, also referred to as melodeath. Melodic death metal is a subgenre of heavy metal music, and was pioneered by bands Dark Tranquillity, At the Gates and In Flames in the early to mid-1990s.

Osmium oh-s-me-umm
Osmium has the highest density among metals so is heaviest metal.
The heaviest alkaline-earth metal is radium. Radium is a highly radioactive element and is the heaviest and most unstable of the alkaline-earth metals.
through my knowledge osimum is the heaviest metal
Barium is the heaviest non-radioactive alkali Earth metal, with an atomic number of 56.
By density, osmium is the heaviest (22.61 kgL-1). By atomic weight, ununpentium is the heaviest (228gmol-1)
Osmium
Neon
Barium is the second heaviest alkaline earth metal, following radium in terms of atomic weight.
The name of the genre is "black metal." It is a subgenre of heavy metal music known for its fast tempos, shrieking vocals, and dark themes.
While francium is technically the heaviest metal in terms of atomic weight due to its higher atomic number, it is not commonly found in nature. Cesium, on the other hand, is more readily available and easier to measure. This is why cesium is often referred to as the heaviest metal.
