That makes me wonder....Do you want to do this to someone?

If your wages are being garnished it will not effect how much you get back or pay in. Keep in mind though the garnishing authority could take your refund with a process called claim of right or offset.
It depends on the garnishing order
Can a collection agency already garnishing you also levy your wages
I just recently had to go through the process of garnishing someone's wages in Middle TN. The garnishment lasts for 6 months and then has to be renewed if you're not satisfied with your settlement after that 6 months.
Absolutely. Once they have a judgment, they can do a lot to collect the money owed, including garnishing wages.
It depends on who is garnishing your wages. If it is a creditor than yes, if it is the IRS no.
Garnishing wages is an expensive process that generally comes after winning a court case and is either mandated by a judge or it was agreed to in initial paperwork signed with the creditor. There are options to be considered for looming medical bills. Cindym

If you are talking about the IRS garnishing wages the answer is no. They can only garnish the amount you make over 40 hours.
