When the radio goes to "CODE" you need to enter the correct code. This can usually be obtained from a dealer, even if the radio has been switched; otherwise you need to return it to Becker. I don't believe there's a "reset" function like on the newer radios. It either goes to "CODE" or works. If you enter the wrong code more than three time the radio will lock up and needs to be left on for as long as twenty four hours, before CODE will come up again.
