When the radio goes to "CODE" you need to enter the correct code. This can usually be obtained from a dealer, even if the radio has been switched; otherwise you need to return it to Becker. I don't believe there's a "reset" function like on the newer radios. It either goes to "CODE" or works. If you enter the wrong code more than three time the radio will lock up and needs to be left on for as long as twenty four hours, before CODE will come up again. The dealer if they are decent can supply Mercedes radio codes with the VIN or the radios serial number. Becker will do the same but will Charge you $30.00. ∙ 14y agoYou can go to the dealer and get your radio code. The dealer has all the radio codes for mercedes. When you receive your code, turn on your car and punch in the code the dealer gave you on the factory radio.

∙ 12y agoYou'll need to have access to the radio code. You enter it into the keypad on the face of the radio, when prompted. If you don't know your code, you'll have to get it from Mercedes-Benz. Sometimes you can find your code in your owners manual kit.

Are you sure that the code you have entered is correct? If you have entered the code more than 3 times incorrectly, it will refuse any code after that (even the correct code). In this case you will have to disconnect your battery to erase its memory of the wrong input(s) and try again. If that doesn't work, you will have to take your car to your Mercedes Dealer- they will have to pull the radio to get the serial number off of the back of the unit- then using that number they will be able to retrieve the actual code for you.
