As another poster mentioned, the same ones from a 94 explorer worked but with the Amp you need to hook the dk blue wire on the 8x1 plug into the blue/white wire coming out of your new stereo. Otherwise you get no sound. Its usually labeled remote wire.I would not do this without a harness adapter kit like a stingpro F-5511 or a merta 5511. Save you tons of work for the $10 you spend. Get yourself a digital voltmeter with a continuity function. Turn the Car on and look for 12 volts (connect black lead of meter to something metal). You should have it on two wires. Turn the car off and one of the two wires will still have 12 volts, the other will not. The one that still has 12 volts is the memory wire, the other one is the accessory wire. Turn off car. Turn on your headlights, and make sure the dimmer is set to the brightest setting. Find the wire or two wires that have close to 12 volts (will be different from the first two wires). Turn the dimmer down about half way. The wire or two wires will show less voltage. These are your illumination wires (You will only need one of these in an aftermarket radio). Turn off headlights Next, set the meter to continuity test. Make sure it beeps by touching the piece of metal the black lead is connected to. If it does not beep make sure the meter doesn't have an option to turn off the beep. Once you get it to beep then check the wires that you don't have identified yet. One of them will cause the meter to beep. This is your ground wire. For the rear speakers, look at the wires going to the clips. The positive lead is the one closes to the clip release. For the front speakers remove the door panel or cover for the speakers, and do the same as you did for the rear. Here is what a 93 Tempo diagram is: 93 Ford Tempo The first color is the wire color, the second color is the stripe. First plug: Battery / Memory - Light Green/Yellow Ignition/Accesory - Yellow/Black Ground - Black/Green Illumination - Light Blue/Red (Connected to the Dimmer portion of the switch so radio lights will dim with switch) Orange/Black The orange/black wire is described below: Panel dimming is controlled by the instrument panel dimming switch. A variable voltage is applied through the 19 (LB/R) wire to control the brightness of the panel lamps. The display's brightness is controlled by the Main Light Switch. When the park lamps are turned on, battery voltage is applied to the Radio through the 484 (O/BK) wire, and the display dims. When the park lamps are turned off, voltage is no longer applied to the Radio, and the display brightens. (Light Blue/Red and Orange/Black both have variable outputs so you could use either one, however, the Light Blue/Red is the designated wire so you could just tape off the Orange/Black) Note that you may not use the Orange/Black wire for your aftermarket radio. Second plug: Left Front + Orange/Light Green Left Front - Light Blue/White Left Rear + Pink/Light Green Left Rear - Tan/Yellow Right Front + White/Light Green Right Front - Dark Green/Orange Right Rear + Pink/Light Blue Right Rear - Brown/Pink Good Luck

Anybody has a radio wiring diagram for prelude 1995?

== == Try checking your local public library. I have a 1990 Prelude and a couple of years ago I swapped out the original radio to install an aftermarket CD player and had no trouble finding a wiring diagram for my car there. A good library should carry repair info and wiring diagrams for most cars currently on the roads today. Just ask the librarian at the reference desk. He/she should be happy to help you.
