It can be. The Latin Ave Maria is the Catholic Hail Mary set to music. The first part of the Hail Mary prayer is from Saint Luke's Gospel in The Bible and is as follows:

Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

The first line is from Luke 1:28 said to Mary by the angel that came to her, to tell her what she would give birth to a child and name him Jesus. "And the angel being come in, said unto her: Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou amongst women."

The second part is from Luke 1:42 said to Mary by her cousin Elizabeth as the Holy Ghost came over her. "And she cried out with a loud voice, and said: Blessed art though amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb."
