A sleeve is a tattoo or a collage of tattoos that cover the entire arm, from the shoulder to the wrist. A half-sleeve only goes down to the elbow.
Sienna Miller has a dove tattoo on her wrist.
Nikki Reed has tattoos on her wrist, foot, and ribcage. Her wrist tattoo reads "Life is beautiful" and her foot tattoo is a black widow spider. The one on her ribcage is a quote from Frida Kahlo.

yes
no idea what they want tattoo
You could, but if you really want a tattoo why not get it where you can really hide it and not on the wrist? I have 14 tattoos and am a professional in education, but all of my tats can be hidden. The wrist is will show and there are people out there that are against tattoos in any shape or form. A watch moves, a long sleeve moves, so you can't count on it staying hidden. Find another place.
A sleeve tattoo is a tattoo that goes over the entire arm and covers almost all skin on the arm. It is visible from every side and normally has personal and meaningful motives. -------------------------------------------------------------------- There are different lengths of sleeve; 1/4, 1/2; 3/4 and full. The 1/4 goes from shoulder to midway between shoulder and elbow The 1/2 sleeve will stop just above the elbow. The 3/4 will stop midway between elbow and wrist The full sleeve will run to just above the wrist joint. Under the arm, a gap is left around the armpit usually; sometimes the elbow itself is also left. As to coverage, it all depends on what style you are going for. Tribal (South Pacific, Marquesan, Maori, etc) will have skin gaps which are part of the design. Japanese is usually the densest for coverage. These are just two examples of style though
4 years equals one chevron stripe worn at the bottom of the sleeve near the wrist.
