For some odd reason it is obsolete- I Haven't heard it for several Christmasses. The song is called Jolly Old St.Nicholas, and in the course of the song, some of the gifts he bestows are described. Susie is the Girl in the family He visits in the song. It has a sort of slow, almost melancholy delivery, but is a happy song. I seem to recall Ray Heatherton may have recorded this song aas the merry Mailman ( surely the postal service does a Bumper Crop, boom or Bust- in the Christmas season!) For some odd reason I have not heard this song in recent years. Janice and Jen are the two girl characters in the Crosby song- It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Suzy or Susie is mentioned in Jolly Old Saint Nicholas.
