Between 10-25,000.00 if in excellent condition and all keys work. Make sure to play it and check the strings.
The 1949 Baldwin Model R grand piano is a fine, fine instrument, when in good condition. It's difficult to assess the value of such a piano, because price is so dependent on condition. From what I've seen them sell for, though, I would say that the value of a 1949 Baldwin Model R grand piano is between $11,000 and $26,000.

what is the value of a Wurlitzer upright with bench, serial #889242 excellent condition and tuned.
just bought one at an auction for$200. It is in excellent condition. In answer to the person who just bought one in excellent condition at auction for $200.00 A find like that is rare indeed. It says several things about this purchase: The seller had no idea as to the true value of the item...otherwise bidding would have started at a much higher value; or, your idea of "excellent condition" is light years away from mine; or the others at the auction were totally ignorant of the true value of the item in question; or, you're making the whole thing up. The true value of a piano if that caliber is ultimately up to the purchaser, of course, but to get things on the right track to begin with, it is well worth several thousand dollars, to start.

Have a good piano technician in your area look at the piano for you. Please read what was posted regarding the same question about the Baldwin Acrosonic. I answered this same question there. Jerry

what is it worth a 1960 wurlitzer spineta piano
I am in San Antonio, TX and I just paid $400.00 for a 1969 Baldwin. It needs a little attention, about 3 - 5 strings need repair and one white key sticks. I was told by a reputable "piano man" that I was getting this piano as a "gift" at that price just b/c it is a Baldwin. Initially, I thought it might be 20 years old and even then he said that it was not considered "old' at 20. This man said everything on the piano is "fixable'. He said he sells 20yr old Baldwins for $2400.00. The wood on the the right leg is chipped and the bench is chipped, will put a pad on the bench.. Otherwise it looks fine, the keys are not as white as I would like but it is just for my daughter to start to get a feel for the piano.

Your piano was manufactured in 1960. Its value depends on its condition and the local market. Contact a reputable dealer and don't get your hopes too high - there were many thousands of excellent pianos manufactured that year.
