I also have a Signet by Selmer 12 string. In excellent condition, plays beter than any 12 string I've ever played. I work in a music store and do set-ups so I've got it in great shape. But like you, I've had trouble getting a market value on it. It was made in '70 I think, in London. It's my go-to stage guitar. Glad to see someone else has a nice Signet.
To be honest its hard to say exactly. They are in my opinion one of the most rare Guitars on earth Especially the 12 stings. But like anything, the value of something is only worth what some one is willing to pay for it. Yours was made in 09/04/73. As shown on serial number. Depending on how good of shape its in. I would guess around 1,000-2,000. at least i wouldn't let mine go for any less then that. Please upload some pics i would love to see it!!

a Selmer Maccaferri
No, Selmer did not. The notion that they did is more likely a myth created by guitar traders and sellers endeavouring to claim some kind of originality for their stock of older instruments. Selmer did not even have a spray booth at that time.
