They go on eBay pretty consistently for about $5-$10, so not much more than you would expect out of an album.
Ringo Starr but Paul McCartney did on back in the USSR because Ringo wasnt present
The most ironic but appropriate song he performed was "Back in the U.S.S.R." from the Beatles' White Album.
Paul McCartney sings "Get Back" he also wrote it. watch the documentary "Let It Be" he sings it live on the roof top!It was Paul.
The "White Album"
Yes. Paul McCartney wrote it with him and Linda Eastman (later Linda McCartney) in mind, but McCartney and John Lennon sang it together, during the Get Back sessions, that later became known as Let It Be.
Let It Be, and the compilation The Beatles 1967-1970 (aka the "Blue Album"). The original, undubbed version appeared on the bootleg album Get Back, and later officially on The Beatles Anthology Vol. 3. A remixed version appears on Let It Be... Naked.
Let It Be, Let It Be... Naked, and virtually any Paul McCartney live album.
Ringo Starr but Paul McCartney did on back in the USSR because Ringo wasnt present
"Let's get another album out in time for Christmas." Their previous album, A Hard Day's Night, was made up of all original Lennon/McCartney songs, and the band was tapped for new material, but expected to release another album before the end of the year. They fell back on their early repertoire of cover tunes once again, to complete Beatles For Sale.
From my imagine album, it says sw 3379 on the back left hand cornner. This is the issue number witch is the original.
The most ironic but appropriate song he performed was "Back in the U.S.S.R." from the Beatles' White Album.
Paul McCartney
Paul McCartney's first post-Beatles album was simply titled McCartney, and was released in April 1970. He had worked on songs and recordings on his own, in the months between Abbey Road and remixes on Let It Be, and played all the instruments himself. (New wife Linda sang harmonies.)McCartney issued the album at nearly the same time as both Ringo Starr's first solo album (Sentimental Journey) and Let It Be, and included an interview (with questions drawn up by the Apple Press Office) stating he had no further plans to work with the other Beatles.
I had an album back in the late 80's, the title was Midnight Blue by Louise tucker and Charlie Scarbeck. It had a song on it titled Only For You. the tune was the same as Elizabethan Serenade. I don't know if this is the original lyrics or if there are original lyrics to the song. I have tried to find the album but to no avail. The album was recorded in England. I hope this is helpful.
