I have found that in mass-produced Japan-made Guitars "value" is a relative thing. Having saved my 1972 Conn F-10 from sitting in a friend's closet decaying forever, I discovered that once I fixed a few problems it is a very nice-sounding guitar. I'm sure that a pawn-shop wouldn't give 50 bucks for one of these unless it was immaculate. It might sell in a used guitar store for maybe 90 to 100 dollars. There is no real prestige to the name, but it's a nice, if somewhat cheaply made guitar. I have seen much worse build quality though. I've found that it's value is mainly in the playing. Enjoy. Yes, I believe they were imported from Japan, but I own a C.G. CONN acoustic guitar. It's very old. Conn only made guitars for a few years in the 70's This is a website, or part of one rather, that tells you alot about the Conn guitars. I was wondering about my own Conn Acoustic and started digging on the net. Even without a label inside I was able to do a quick identity. As to individual or re-sale values I was not interested, as the sound from my mid seventies F-21 Saphere is just too rich and full to trade off.
