www.vinylalbums4sale.com/index.html Answer: I also have a butcher cover(that is an unpeeled pasteover). I read on rarebeatles.com that it could be worth $250 to $1250, but the suggestion my neighbor gave me was to go to comic book shops and ask what it could go for. Also, the price obviosly depends on what state the record is in (if it's falling apart it will be worth less than one that has never even had the plastic wrapping removed).
NO
Yesterday and Today original cover, which was recalled and had another cover pasted over. They called this the "Butcher Cover", and is very valuable, if you can find one. Check condition for value on Beatles.com.
well, they didnt steal them. since obviously they got permission...BUT they did butcher them. the beatles are the greatest band of all time. JB is gonna be gone in a few years!
Butcher Cover.
I doubt it that many people have a signed copy of this because the album is really rare. If you had a Butcher cover album in mint condition, I've heared that people can pay up to $5000
NO
I believe that was the American released album, Yesterday and Today. The original 'butcher' album cover had The Beatles in white butchers' outfits, covered in decapitated baby dolls and meat. This was considered offensive so the cover was changed.

Auction Kings - 2010 Beatles 'Butcher' Album Fire Grenade 3-16 was released on: USA: 23 August 2012
Butcher Cover because it has the 4 Beatles in white coats smiling with 2 decapitated baby dolls and raw meat all over them it is worth a lot of money because it was canceled because it was considered to be not appropriate for the public

A butcher.
The album basicaly changed the way millions of people thought of music. The beatles also stripped their clean cut good boy images. Sgt Peppers is full of drug references and others interestings topics.
The original cover of Yesterday... and Today was pasted over, because the photo was considered too weird for the time. (It showed them in butcher jackets, covered in pieces of meat, false teeth, and baby-doll parts.) John Lennon and Yoko Ono's Some Time In New York City had a sticker over part of its cover, that showed a faked photo of Richard Nixon dancing naked with Mao Zedong.
