I don't think it would be worth much. I owned one in the 1970s and sold it because of the limitations of the short keyboard - I think I sold it for about $125 in 1976. Circa 1990 I saw another one at a piano store - it was in very poor condition and the salesman told me they did not plan to restore it because Gulbransen was a low-end brand and it would cost more to restore than they could sell it for. That said, however, they are very cute.
That serial number of piano was probably made in 1955.
Kohler & Campbell pianos built between 1955 and 1958 were issued serial numbers from 503000-521000. Given this, a Kohler & Campbell numbered 503242 would very likely have been produced within the first few months on 1955.
A Wurlitzer piano is indeed an expensive one. However, the serial number 598117 was made in Germany during World War 2 and was produced in such rareity that this one is worth at least 2,000,000,000 yen. NO JOKE!!!
According to what I've seen, that's either a 1954 or 1955 model.

The 1955 Irish penny is worth 1.25 pounds due to their scarcity.
