Brass
A trumpet is usually mostly brass, a metal. Metals are conductors, so... By deduction a trumpet is a conductor. You can easily test this if you have access to a trumpet and a multimeter. Use the "ohms" scale of the multimeter...
It is made of cane, like an oboe reed on a metal staple tyed with nylon thread
The reason is because the sound is created by different means and materials. On a guitar, it's a vibrating string. With trumpet, the player's lips buzz into a mouthpiece and cause a tone to pass through the instrument.
When I was a kid in the 1950's and 60's, Dorn and Kirschner was a large music store in Newark, NJ. They sold stuff under their own name and the DeKay name. I would guess that a mouthpiece bearing their name was made for them, not by them.
All Saxophones are made of brass. They have a plastic, hard rubber, metal or even a glass mouthpiece. The reed is bamboo
Chris Botti plays a Martin Committee Handcraft trumpet made in 1939, and uses a 3C silver plated mouthpiece from Bach made in 1926, having recently retired his 1920 3C Bach mouthpiece.
Stuck...Seriously though - It depends on the instrument. If it really is a trumpet, then chances are it's custom made, and the mouthpiece is not designed to come off. In this case, however, it is still called a trumpet.
Silver
it depends on the size and brand, my 7C yamaha (an average mouthpiece) cost 40$ while my 14A4 schukie (mouthpiece made for playing high) cost 80

A trumpet is made out of brass. But why isn't a saxophone a brass instrument? because it uses a reed in order to produce sound while brass instruments use a metallic mouthpiece

Yes most Musical Instruments are either made of wood or metal or both. For example a piano is made of wood and has metal strings and other metal parts Some instruments are made entirely of metal eg Trumpet
It started out as a hollowed out bone with holes, then was refined into a hollowed out piece of bamboo, then was made with a metal mouthpiece, body, and covered metal keys
