Because it helps me concentrate better and i like listening to something versus hearing the honking of other cars. But also, i like to listen to techno music or something when there are not much cars out on the road or behind me. I would listen to Nirvana when I am pissed.
No, it is not good to listen to loud music while working out. You don't need to have your heart pounding while you are trying to get a good workout going.
