i had the same noise coming from my 97 gt, but kept driving it as it didnt appear that anything was wrong. shortly after that on the highway my left front tire flew off, the bolts were too tight and broke off one of the posts. have it looked at, now.
Well if it has a flat nose like a pug then that means that its chocking and/or has a cough.
Sounds like your cooling system termostate is stuck open.
Try spraying them with WD-40 and let iot sit on there for a while. If that does not work try a 4 way lug wrench .
The diagnostic code 12 51 55 is actually not a code for the 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. The 12 means that it has started searching for codes. The 51 is oxygen sensor stuck lean. The 55 means it is finished searching for codes. Getting this means nothing is wrong.
Often this means that you have just oiled your valves and put one of them in the wrong way. Try taking them all out and blowing through. If air goes through, replace them one at a time until you can blow air all the way through with all three valves in place. If this didn't help, you may very well have an object stuck inside the trumpet. I would take it to a repair shop to get the blockage removed.
Something stuck in tread. Nail or rock. Might be wheel cover if equiped.
Sometimes a ticking sound is a valve lifter. The faster you go the faster the ticking will be. Make sure first it is not something stuck in a tire or something on the fan belt.
That sounds risky - it might get stuck, and you might need to go to a hospital to get it out again. Somewhat dangerous... as well as embarrasing.
Try to locate the ticking noise. Is it the engine? Is it ticking when you are driving? When you are sitting still? It could be as simple as a stone stuck in yoru tire, everytime it hits the road it ticks. it could be a lifter in the engine. Try to be more specific as to where and when the ticking happens.
It sounds like you might have an overfuel problem. Check your air filter for dirt it might be plugged or your choke might be stuck.
sounds like the carb needle valve is stuck or something is stuck in it. not a do it yourself repair, might need new carb. good luck
sounds like your thermostat is stuck closed, maybe some of the debris loosened from the flush is blocking it.
my Pontiac keeps getting stuck in park
That is the mix door actuator trying to move the door, it may be stuck or you might have a vacuum leak coming from the engine. The actuator may be bad as well.
== == Could be a pebble stuck in the tread of one of your tires. The ticking noise only appears to disappear because the tone or pitch of the noise gets higher with speed to the point at which it is undetectable to the human ear.
