2004 to 2005 is the year and it's made in Mexico
mine has this too, its not a serial but a model NO... my one doesnt have a serial but writing inside neck cavity is dated '92

The first letter is probably a 'V' and not a 'U' Which would make it a 2003 or 2004 Vintage Series Telecaster

Your serial number being in the 10k-20k range dates your Telecaster between 1955 and 1957. Some of the numbers overlap so the only way you can truly tell is to take off the neck and check the neck pocket for a stamping
