One professor went as far as saying that Desolation Row was his own ''Waste Land'' by T.S Eliot.

If this question is in anyway answerable I would nominate Desolation Row as Dylan's most influential song, because of it's great poetry and because it has been credited by professionals as one of the greatest works of art.
