I read or heard somewhere that John grew tired of The Beatles and writing songs with Paul because all Paul wanted to write was silly love songs. Reportedly, Paul's response to this criticism was to write and record wit Wings "Silly Love Songs."
It was officially released in the newspapers on April 10, 1970 that Paul McCartney had left The Beatles. Although, it was John Lennon who had officially quit first.
No they have not.
In reality the "feud" was only a few lines in a coupla songs. Both artist had great respect for each other and the music each made. Ronnie and Neil were friends. Ronnie was the type of man that if he did not like somone they knew it and his admiration for Neil is well recorded. But if there ever was a real fued, and I agree Ronnie and Neil were very good friends, it would either be Neil for writing the line, or Ronnie for complaining...
as weerd as it seems...yes. it was because they ended their feud
a lot of people say that it is a love song, but i had once read a post from them stating it was written about the band, they had a feud and they wanted to reunite so to speak.....so it is pretty much a statement saying you are sorry and that you need that person in your life, which can be easily put into the theory of a love song
