He was forced into the music industry by his father. He didn't know what it was like to have a childhood. All he knew was music so that is why he felt comfortable on stage rather than off. He is one of the greatest musicians of all time, which can easily been seen through record sales.
As he grew older he wanted to try to salvage any remains of his childhood, that's why he created Neverland Ranch and had children over. He was one of the very few in the industry that showed the world himself and the world thought he was wacko, hence "Wacko Jacko". In the end we starting seeing that he was telling the truth about his skin condition and other aspects of his life. He was a person who wanted to be himself and the world wouldn't let him do that. R.I.P. Michael Jackson.
