No. It really shouldn't make a difference as long as your nails are not extremely long. Fake nails shouldn't get in the way of anything, just be careful not to snag it on any part of the saxophone while your putting it together or resting with it. Now if your nails are really long for example over 2 inches or so, it would be hard to do pretty much anything. So I would be very weary of that. But as long as your comfortable with it then it should be perfectly okay.
