What was the first violent video game ever?

Based on my research it was either a Michael Jackson game or Donkey Kong. Either these guys are idiots or kidding. The very first PlayStation game however was Ape Escape. Which was weird since it could only be played on a DualShock controller and at the time they were not released.

It depends on what you think is violent. The first video game to ever be created was a simple arcade game known as space invaders created in Japan. In the game, you shoot aliens advancing on your ship. I think tat was the first violent video game. YEA PS3!

in a more modern time the first two MAJOR violent games are doom and postal.

while not the "first" they are the first two that made headlines on what you can do and are rated AO (adults only) due to there content
