Are you asking for the name of the pianist? It was probably Ignace Jan Padarewski. He is the only Polish President I know who also had a career as a concert pianist. If you are asking for music played at a certain concert, I don't have a clue. The correct spelling is Ignacy Jan Paderewski and he most likely played his current repertoire which at the time included a lot of what was considered the Polish patriotic music, for example: Chopin's Polonaise Militaire, Revolutionary Etude, or Oginski's Farewell to Homeland Polonaise. For the record, Paderewski was the very first solo performer to appear at the Carnegie Hall which just opened its doors a few months ago. He was also one of the few to attract more than 3,000 listeners to the place. The most astounding fact is that at the exactly same time his music was also performed in the Metropolitan Opera and both had over 100% attendance count. After the Carnegie Hall concert Paderewski managed to appear at both locations to acknowledge the ongoing standing ovations. He donated all of his concert proceeds towards efforts of turning Poland into a free and Independent nation. He was a frequent visitor at the White House and often conferred with President Roosevelt. Pope John Paul II described Paderewski as one of the greatest Polish patriots and an artistic genius.
