Guitarist Terry Kath is the answer.

Details from Bing search, if allowed:

(January 23, 1978) Legendary Chicago guitarist Terry Kath was an avid collector of guns. One week before his 32nd birthday, he brought several of his metal friends to a party along with his wife. After the party broke up, he began to play with his guns.

Above was copy/pasted from Bing.

The story goes on to say that he held a few of his guns to his head and succesfully fired and empty gun. But having forgotten that an automatic automatically loads, even without the clip in, he fired a single shot through his head.
