Since Michael Jackson was young, his father, Joe Jackson, called him big nose (along with many others). In Thriller Michael Jackson had plastic surgery on his nose. As he grew, he had a few more.

I'd say probably his skin color change was the biggest. Also, his voice changing from a little 7 year old in a band with his brothers to a man's voice was a huge change, although, people still love him ;)

Well for starters, Michael Jackson had a skin disorder called vitiligo which causes depigmentation in the skin. Michael DID NOT bleach his skin, he used makeup to cover the blotches that were forming on his skin.

Michael's dad, Joe Jackson, made fun of Michael's nose saying "why is your nose so big? You didn't inherit my nose.." and other things along those lines. Michael felt ugly because of the negative comments his father gave him, so when Michael was old enough, he got a nose job.

Michael was a perfectionist. He was never happy or satisfied with everything that he did. This applies to his looks and also his work as an entertainer.
