The bulbs and or sockets are dirty/corroded and need either cleaned or replaced. The corrosion causes the light to not have a good ground contact, therefore the circuit's power is finding it's way through other systems.
The alternator may be going bad.
what's the question
Both the lens and the light pull out.
There is a green "POWER" light that comes on this 2004 Chevy Tracker. The light simi circular in the lower right corner of dash. There is no mention of any kind of power light in the owners mannual. The local chevy service dept. has no idea?? Can you help me?
my brake light s don't work but the fuses are good
open your rear cargo door and look to the left side ...door will have a small turn knob and will be removed front to back.... this will be located inside the Tracker behind the driver side tail light
Check the vacuum line to the front differential.
It is not a "warning" light but an indicator that you have pressed the button near the shifter to put the tranny into tow mode.
turn the round gray part behind the light, remove the wire and pull the bulb out, reverse to reinstall
left front is light gray(-) and tan (+) right front is light green (-) and dark green (+)
It is like the turn signal flasher dash light . just to remind you it is in four wheel drive.
on the driver side by the front speaker up underneath is a switch that turns off the check engine light.
