For his excessive drinking/drug use and partying.
The lead singer of Megadeth is Dave Mustaine. He is also the lead and rhythm guitarist.
Megadeth is the only band he's currently in. Prior to forming Megadeth, he was in Metallica, but was kicked out before they recorded their debut album. Prior to that, he was in a band called Panic. In the mid-90s, he had a side project called M.D. 45, but it was very short-lived.
When Dave Mustaine was kicked out of Metallica, they asked then Exodus guitarist Kirk Hammett to fill in. He then became a full time member.
Dave Mustiane was the person to make and sing it but since he has been kicked out, James Hetfield is now the singer of Seek And Destroy - Metallica.
he founded the band after he kicked out of metallica...he plays both rhythm and lead guitar for the band and is the heart and soul of the band

presumably metallica ... Such as James Hetfeild, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Truijo. I am not sure if you can play as Dave Mustain (Metallica's first Guitarist currently in the band Megadeath), Cliff Burton (Metallica's original bassist, who died in a tour bus accident), or Jason Newstead (Metallica's bassist from Cliff's death to the Reload album.)

Dave Mustaine. He was not kicked out for drug abuse but for being Violent and being a heavy drinker. Also none of them did drugs, all they did was drink. Even though Dave Mustaine was a drug addict, the main reason he was kicked out is because of his violent reaction to alcohol. actually Dave was drunk and laid James out and claimed that one of them kicked his dog in a violent drinkin binge
Dave and Metallica are on better terms now. During the events of the Some Kind of Monster, Dave and Lars got to vent their anger. Megadeth will also be playing with Metallica at Sonisphere 2010.
not sure about solo projects but he did join megadeth which became and still is a really good band
The lead guitarist of Metallica is Kirk Hammet. Originally, Grant Lloyd was the lead guitarist in 1981 but he was substituted by Dave Mustaine in 1982 and he was kicked out of Metallica in 1982, and since then Kirk is Metallica's lead guitarist. NOTE: Dave was kicked out of the band because he was a drunk. He never recorded any songs; he was credited for 4 songs on Kill 'Em All. He was kicked out when he woke up one morning and the rest of Metallica handed him a bus ticket, then he formed Megadeth in 1983. Then Kirk was called to join the band. NOTE:The 4 songs are The Four Horsemen..Jump In The Fire..Metal Militia..and Phantom Lord NOTE:Dave made a song called "The Mechanix"(On the first Megadeth album "Killing Is My Business...and Business Is Good!",that is pretty much like The Four Horsemen but sped up and doesn't have the melodic imiddle section in Metallica's The Four Horsemen. The Mechanix was written by metallica and Dave Mustaine, and played several times live, but when they recorded Kill Em' All (with kirk) the lyrics where changed, an instrumental middle part was included and the name of the song was changed to The Four Horsemen. Dave plays the original metallica song that he co-created. The Mechanix originally appeared on Metallica's Demo, 'No Life Til Leather' before they made it big.
Dave Mustaine NEVER sung a single word in Metallica, and only recorded their first demo "No Life 'Til Leather" The actual guitarist for Kill 'Em All was Kirk Hammet, but the riffs were written by Mustaine before he was kicked out of the band for being an alcoholic. James Hetfield definitely sung Ride The Lightning, as well as every other Metallica song.
