Don Imus announced he had prostate cancer on his radio show in March of 2009.
He took over Don Imus's radio spot as a co-host with Boomer Esiason.
Don Imus was primarily broadcast through various radio stations, but specific stations may vary by region and over time. In Texas, listeners could often find him on stations that carried his show as part of a national syndication. However, due to the changing landscape of radio programming, it's best to check local listings or online platforms for the most current information on where to find his broadcasts.
We surveyed the list of his stations and couldn't find one anywhere that would reliablyserve the DC area. However, we found this site that talks about hearing his show on-line. We weren't personallyinterested in partaking, so we didn't collect a lot of details. But we thought you might be, sohere's the site you should check out:http://radiotime.com/program/p_20327/Imus_in_the_Morning.aspx
According to Imus' website, his show has no outlet in the Chicagoland area, nor anywhere else in Illinois or Wisconsin. The nearest ones listed on his website are FM stations in Terre Haute and Fort Wayne, Indiana, which you won't be able to receive in Chicago. We have the same problem here in Skokie. Sorry.
