Weiss and the Disney Corp. (thru The Lion King) continue to profit from this song, with no proceeds going to Linda's family, Pete Seeger (who anglicized the original lyrics), or The Tokens (who first recorded it in the U.S.). Typical exploitive douche-bags, in my opinion...
