Queen did not die. Brian May is still alive in 2017 at age 70. Roger Taylor is also still alive at 68, and John Deacon is 66.
The original lead singer of the band, Freddie Mercury, died on November 24, 1991.
In 2008, but when Freddie Mercury (the original lead singer of Queen) died in 1991 they "replaced" him with Paul Rodgers and didn't really make any new songs. The bassist, John Deacon, stopped his career in music when Freddie died though, and since then he has only performed very few times with the remaining members of Queen.
Queen do still perform. They released an album with Paul Rodgers I think it was last year and also did a tour.
