Yes, Paul's son James McCartney sat next to John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono Lennon. Paul's current wife Nancy Chevell also attended wearing an outfit designed by Paul's daughter Stella McCartney. See the related news story describing everyone who was there.
Counting her money and looking for her next rich old guy to marry...
Paul's father bought him a trumpet which was his first instrument. Because his father played piano, Paul took that up next. When rock 'n' roll hit the U.K., Paul chose the guitar.
The Say Say Say video is about a couple of conmen (Jackson and McCartney) who apparently go around the country selling a "strength potion". McCartney poses as the man selling the potion that will make you miraculously strong, and Jackson poses as someone in the crowd who wants to "try" the potion and see if it works. Of course, since Jackson is in on the scam, he drinks the potion and immediately wins an arm-wrestling match with a much bigger man (also in on the scam). After this display, the rest of the crowd surges forward with everyone wanting to buy some potion. With the money they make from the strength potion, McCartney, Jackson, and McCartney's wife Linda (playing another con-woman and part of their little group) go off and give the money they've made to the poor. McCartney and Jackson then travel to the next town and perform a vaudville act in a local tavern. While there, Jackson notices a pretty girl in the crowd (played by Michael's sister La Toya). He flirts with her a bit, but in the end he cannot stay with her because of his life on the road. McCartney gives La Toya flowers in the last scene, and she stands by the side of the road waving as the other three take off in their wagon, bound for the next town where they will presumably perform or try the "strength potion" scam all over again.
In America, with Billboard No 1's the title goes to... Paul McCartney with 32, next is John Lennon with 26 and coming in 3rd is Mariah Carey with 17, I should imagine this is a good indication of the rest of the world too.

Ford was born July 30, 1863, on a farm next to a rural town west of Detroit, Michigan.

John Lennon and Paul McCartney wrote (music and lyrics) for well over half of the Beatles music. George Harrison was the Next top contributor. Ringo only wrote 4 or 5.
You may be thinking of "Mull Of Kintyre", which was a hit around most of the world... except the United States, where it was barely promoted (if at all). McCartney was upset enough about this to "take his business elsewhere", and when his contract with Capitol Records in the US ended, McCartney took his entire solo output to Columbia Records, where it remained for the next seven years. (EMI's family of labels continued to distribute his music, around the rest of the world.)
