When singing into an iPhone mic why does my voice sound so different in a bad way and I'm not sure if it's me not being used to my voice or is the iPhone voice recorder just not right?

okk this is what you do, use another device that allows recording, sing then if your voice still sounds 'different' like on ur iphone then its you!
