2005 Scion tC with 31000 miles on the odometer The dealer has recommended an 85 dollar power steering flush Is this necessary?

Depends on the condition of the fluid. Toyota's use Dexron in their power steering system. Normally this looks like red kool-aid or Nyquil. If it is black and dirty, then it needs changed. Most cars do not need this service until closer to 100,000. However, some cars (the Tc included) do not properly cool the power steering fluid and the fluid overheats, scorches, and turns black.I would replace the power steering fluid - a flush may not be necessary, just a drain and fill. You can do this yourself in < 30 minutes if you can take off the front passenger side wheel and have a pair of pliers to disconnect the power steering line.To do yourselfDisconnect the PS line behind the front passenger wheel, let the fluid drain out, reconnect the line and clamp, refill the reservoir. Put the wheel back on. If you have jack stands to properly support your car you can leave it up, if you only have the jack that came with the car, let the car down for these next steps. To bleed air from the system - Turn the wheel lock to lock (all the way left, all the way right) and refill the reservoir. Turn the car on and let the air work its way out of the system (5 to 10 min) and refill the resevior. With the enginge running, again turn the wheel lock to lock and refill the resivior. At this point most of the air should be out of the system, if there is still air in the system your steering will be loud(gurgly?) intermittently. You can continue to turn the wheel lock to lock or take a (short) drive around the neighborhood to let any remaining air out. When you're done, double check the resivior level and look for any leaks.

How do you scream like oli Sykes?

oil inhale screams most of the time, but this info mainly applys to exhale screaming, start off with exhale screaming, it is more easyuse your diaphragm (the muscle at the bottom of your lungs) instead of your throatit should feel like the scream is coming from the top of your mouthif it hurts, stop and try again another day (u r doing it wrong)drink milkdrink warm waterdon't drink fizzy thingsGoogle it!start off with whispering, then grow louderdon't scream a lot in one goit will take a long time to learn, don't be rushedavoid cold food and drinksit is better to exhale scream than to inhale scream, its better for your vocal chords, listen to the blackout, hard slammin and I'm a riot your a f****** riot, this is inhale scream, then listen to some exhale scream, see which one u like best, please don't hurt yourself, i wont be held responsible!i really hope this helps:-)Oli doesn't inhale, he exhales. The god of screaming would know that inhales are sh*tty and can't even be considered screams. DON'T INHALE SCREAM, I'M BEGGING YOU. AND DON'T DRINK MILK. Milk forms mucus, so, you'll be hacking up while you're vocal practicing.---Hello, actual vocalist here. I consider myself sufficiently mastered in the death metal and deathcore styles of harsh vocals, but am also adept at hardcore, thrash, grindcore, and slam (gurgly gutturals) style vocals. Oli Sykes is DEFINITELY NOT the "god of screaming," although he does use proper technique. Every release up to Sempiternal, he used the false cord technique to produce screams - he now uses vocal fry, which is more versatile in that it can be combined with the normal singing voice to give it more "edge" or "grit" and a hard rock feel to it, but normally doesn't sound very intense at all if you try to use it for screaming/growling. What we want for nice, loud, brutal screams is the false cord technique. Lucky for you, false cord is the easier of the two to get the technique down... but definitely harder to master and develop it into YOUR own style and diversify yourself. When you get the technique completely down, you push quite hard with your diaphragm, like you would if you tried to force air through clenched teeth forcefully. Give it a try - close your teeth and push air, and you'll feel the proper muscle. When you're first learning however, you want to go EASY with diaphragm force, as you will likely not have the proper technique down for a while, and the increased diaphragm force combined with improper technique will SURELY cause pain, blood, and damage to the vocals. One of the most common mistakes made (the same mistake I made when first learning) is trying to use the normal voice and "clench" the throat muscles with added volume to try to produce the sound - this is extremely painful and sounds like total s--t, don't do it. You'll be laughed at, I guarantee. You wouldn't pick-slam your brand new guitar if you were first learning guitar, because you'd break the strings; you go EASY at first and build your way up. Another mistake beginners make is getting too frustrated at the slow progression of their sound and rushing it. You need dedication to learn.Finding that "sweet spot" for proper technique is a game of trial and error, which is why I am HIGHLY emphasizing being easy at first... but me saying be gentle isn't me saying be a lil' bi--h about it :D have some confidence! Play the music loud enough so no one else can hear you, that'll make you less self-conscious.Here is an in-depth video on the subject matter. Try to ignore the... less than modest captioning in the beginning and his high screams he demonstrates around the same time - the point and lesson he is giving in the video is still 100% valid and still 100% helpful:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNdDWitTBekRemember, this will take time. Do not get frustrated, and do not give up. You quit like a b---h, you die like a b---h.
