They said in an interview in 2007 that Monsoon was written when they were 13 years old, so in 2003. Bill and Tom wrote it, of course, it was in German, but they had some people look over it and make any needed changes to it. Then they recorded it and published it in 2005(in German. Then when they decided to come to America, Bill and Tom, with the help of professionals, rewrote it in English, then performed live for the first time in Houston, Texas at the radio station. It became #1 on the charts and they have been huge all over the world ever since.
