Several Christian bands incorporate psychedelic rock elements into their music, including The 77s, known for their blend of alternative rock and psychedelia, and Daniel Amos, who transitioned from new wave to a more psychedelic sound in their later works. Another notable band is Lost Dogs, which features members from various Christian rock backgrounds and often explores diverse musical styles, including psychedelia. Additionally, the band The Choir is recognized for their atmospheric sound that sometimes leans into psychedelic influences.
I think it will be Canada, Germany, Norway, and Japan. This is considering their rise of mostly genre based rock bands like J-Rock, J-Pop, Black Metal, Techno, Industrial, and Indie bands.
well, the emergence of the "core" bands (metalcore, post hardcore, etc.) and the rise of Alternative Rock (Mumford and sons, Imagine Dragons). Also, with the internet more and more small bands are getting discovered and the recognition they deserve. New technology are allowing bands to get more creative with their sound and many bands are experimenting with electronics in their music. Rock and Roll is still very much alive.
Christian music is a branch of the music industry which includes many genres of music. For hundreds of years, Christians have been writing music in all types of genres with a Christian message. Generally, Christian music can exist in any type or genre. There is Christian Country, Christian Hip-Hop (TobyMac) and Rap (LeCrae, Grits), Christian Pop (Matthew West), Christian Rock (Kutless), Christian Soft Rock (Casting Crowns), Christian Hard Rock (Skillet), Christian Metal (Demon Hunter), Christian Alternative and many more. As well as a ton more artists/bands!
As of my last update, there is no widely recognized Christian band specifically named Skyhook. However, the name "Skyhook" has been associated with various musical projects and bands, but they may not all be focused on Christian themes. It's always possible that new bands or projects have emerged since then, so checking current music platforms or social media might provide the latest information.
cause they all sound alike, and are unoriginal

The Undertones are a punk rock/new wave band, and they are Irish, and performed in Derry, Northern Ireland in 1975. They drew much of their material from other punk rock/new wave bands.
Rise Against are classed as a rock band, although their new album 'Appeal to Reason' is classed as alternative.

Yes because some bands are making a new age in rock and roll and their own style.
I would say it began in the late 1960s in New York with bands like The Velvet Underground and The Stooges.
