They are doing you a favor, you dont want more of those junk rogue mechanisms anyway. Find a model of washburn or fender bass which has similar mechanisms & see if you can buy replacement parts for those instead.
My rogue acoustic has washburn machines on it now & i didnt have to make any alterations at all.
Yes and no. They are very cheap. Have amazing sound quality and stay in tune for long periods of time. They are great for beginners or as a back up guitar. Although the Martin strings that come it makes the guitar sound horrible so I would recommend buying a new set of strings. The action is pretty high also but you can take it down if you wanted to. Other than that I love mine and would highly recommend it especially for someone who has a low budget.
No, it doesn't come with an instrument cable.
Very little. Rogue is the house guitar brand of Musician's Friend and its products are of quite poor quality. A second-hand 12-string acoustic might fetch $50 or so if it's in good shape.

Rogue basses are famous for failing tuner keys. When you find some, i recommend you buy a full set of four (or five) trust me, you will end up replacing them all sooner or later anyway. Below I will provide links to a few sites which sell replacement tuning mechanisms. You don't necessarily need (or want) rogue-brand replacements... They are pretty standard across the various types, just find the ones which look most like the ones you have now & order that.
The big advantage of a rogue guitar is that it is a nice guitar for a value price. Not only does a rogue guitar have a nice tone, there is a variety of available sizes on the market, which appeals to not only adults but kids starting out on guitar.

I've read in reviews of the Rogue HH that their factory is in Indonesia.
They do make the Rogue LX200BL Series II Left-Handed Bass Guitar.
The Rogue LX405 Pro 5-String Bass Guitar is comfortable to play, but can be a bit more difficult for lefties due to the machine head locations.
i would say rogue, but it all depends on prefference
Secret Service - 2002 FALN A Rogue by Any Other Name was released on: USA: 2002
The Rogue LX405 Pro 5-String Bass Guitar has a very bold tone by itself, so it's a matter o preference whether to add effects or not.

Don't think there is a way, my best advice is to buy strings by the box if you have a brand you like. I prefer GHS and D'Addario as their 4.90$ or 18$ (3 pack) Canadian for them. you can go online and order just the string you broke in bulk off of musicansfriend.com rogue strings I believe... but since its metal I had an idea to solder the string back together as I do guitar repairs but it wouldn't vibrate or echo the right way so best bet like I've said before is to buy a new string or pack. New strings sound great so regardless its kind of win win. .. by the way thick strings like drop tuning last wayyy longer I've played 13-60 for about two years in mostly standard and C# and its way better, louder stays in tune longer and everything.
