Loretta Lynn's children are scattered in various directions now.

Her son Jack Benny, died in a accident, after he fell from his horse, at the river that runs toward the Lynn home. Loretta, claims to this day, that her son was murdered, but there's no proof of that.

Son Ernest Ray, continues to travel as one of the musicians in Loretta's band "The Coal Miner's." Ernest Ray is also a songwriter, and even had a top 20 hit with his mom back in the early 1980's, that was called, "Mama's Sugar."

Daughter Betty Sue Perry, is a songwriter and performed, just like mom. She wrote some of her Mother's hits back in the 1960's that included: "Before I'm Over You"; "The Other Woman"; "Wine Women and Song"; and the "Home You're Tearin' Down."

Daughter Tracey Lee, is a performer and songwriter. She also wrote some tunes for Loretta. Songs that were not released as singles, but, included on several albums.

Daughter's Peggy and Patsy (the twins), both continue to perform and write.
