Richard Wright who passed away about a year ago, was indeed a member of Pink Floyd...he was their keyboard player form the very beginning until they finished as a band.

He was also absent for Waters last Pink Floyd album 'The Final Cut'. Wright, along with David Gilmour and Nick Mason reunited as Pink Floyd in 1987.
