The TPS is located on the right hand side of the engine on the throttle body that has the large air intake tupe attached to in on top of the intake manifold. There are three sensors attached to the throttle body...the sensor located closest to the valve cover is the Idle Control Valve, the sensor in the middle is the TPS you want to replace, and the square plastic sensor nearest the fender is the MAP sensor. You will need a small torx bit to remove the TPS sensor. Changing it is simple and straightforward. Good Luck!
I believe only one, it is located at the base of the exhaust manifold, right before the exhaust pipe................good luck, Mike
There are 4. One on each side of the catalytic converters in the exhaust system.
CHECK YOUR SPEEDS SENSORS, FIRST THEN MODULES AND WIRING
Two sensors in the same part, yes.
The 2000 Grand did not use the 318. The O2 sensors are in the exhaust on either side of the catalytic onverter.
On the throttle body, opposite the cables. On the throttle body, opposite the cables.
These are all potentiometers
The only sensors that I am aware of on the throttle body is the throttle position sensor.
No. Not that I've seen or heard of.
1974 models does not have throttle positions sensors. 1974 models have a carburetor. Only models with fuel injection have throttle position sensors. Sounds like someone is pulling your leg.
Throttle position sensor is located at the throttle body. There are only two sensors there. The one facing the firewall is what you are looking for.
All throttle Position Sensors are on the throttle body
Oxygen, temperature, speed, throttle position.
The throttle position sensor is a potentiometer.
If you're facing engine in front of car, the throttle position sensor is on the left side of the throttle neck. You will see two sensors there. One up high and one which is lower on the throttle neck. The highest sensor on the throttle neck is the TPS.
Clean the MAF and throttle position sensors.
The Tire Pressure Sensors are typically attached to the backside of the valve stem (the part that's inside the tire). Where the sensor for the sensors is located...I think it's part of the 'computer' The throttle position sensor is on the throttle body opposite the throttle cables.
