Check underneath the dash below the steering wheel on the left side. You'll need to climb in to see it. According to the manual, the radio is 32, 15A. I'm trying to find the power window fuse as one of my windows will not roll up or down. The manual says it is 43 but I don't have a 43 and the diagram layout in the manual does not match layout of my fuses. If the other 3 window work, could it be the fuse??? Can anyone help? Lauren
First check the fuses.
The battery fuse for the radio in the Catera is located in the fuse box underneath the steering wheel. There is a cover you have to remove and a guide to the fuses is imprinted on the inside of the cover, which will tell you which one is the correct fuse.
I have a 97 and just changed that fuse for the dome and interior lights, only it also has the tail lights, any way, it is located on driver side on left, fuse # 15 and it is a 10 amp, hope it is a help

Under the hood behind the battery. It's a black plastic box with clip/tabs on the sides. It's the "power box" of the electrical system. There's large & small fuses, power relays, & large heavy fuses located in it. Of course, all the fuses are 12V with varying amp ratings. Interpret it thru the owner's manual.

The fuse box is under the hood next to the battery. Check #5 and maybe #14 for the radio. Some radios, aftermarket ones in particular, may also use an inline fuse which would be located behind the radio in its wiring.
