It may have 2 fuses. A fuse in the fuse panel and an inline fuse, located somewhere on the power wire.

No the wires that plug into the heater hot/cold dial aren't plugged in all the way or the ones in the clock aren't
My 2004 Saturn Vue has two fuses for the radio. One is located in the panel in the dashboard. The other was under the hood in the engine compartment. It was listed as "PR AUD". I believe that stands for premium audio.
Check the fuse. It sound like perhaps you touched the power wire to something you shouldn't have when taking out the old one.

aftermarket tach is fairly simple one wire hooks on to the distributor it says tach lead one ground wire and one power wire some have optional light wire the power and light wires i just tap into the corresponding wires of of the radio
take a red power wire run it from the positive side of the battery to the amp. Take a yellow wire run it from the amp to the fuse panel and tie it in to the radio fuse. Then run your jacks from the radio to the amp and speaker wires from radio to amp.

Somebody please answer this i am also having a problem. if i wire the aftermarket radio it does not even power on. but if i put the stock radio back in it works. could this be a problem with the ground? Help!
