The oil sending unit is on the bottom of the engine towards the back of the engine compartment. It's located under and slightly behind the distributor cap, and directly above the oil filter. If you still can't find it take it to a shop because you have no business working on the vehicle. The above statement is true for SOME, not all. The oil sendind unit on my 2002 4.0L is n the sparkplug side not far from where the oil dipstick enters the crankcase. It is nowhere near the oil filter. It is close to the firewall and hard to see. Look for the wire harness.
Passenger side of the engine, behind the alternator. single wire plug going to it.
The fuel pressure regulator on a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee is part of the pump module in the fuel tank.
How do you replace the safety neutral switch on a 1995 Jeep Cherokee 5-speed transmission and Where is the safety neutral switch located?
39 to about 42 is what the regulator will put out
It's a 30 dollar part. The unit should be located near the filter. Unplug/Unscrew the old one and insert new and plug in.
The fuel pressure regulator is generally located on the fuel rail. On Chrysler products it is located on the top of the fuel pump/sending unit and is part of the fuel filter. Or it is located in front of the fuel tank and above the rear axle.
Not too difficult... That is, if you can find it. I have a '96 JEEP GC Ltd & my oil pressure sending unit was located at the back of the intake manifold by the distributor cap. !!!Pain in the Ass!!!
The oil pressure sensor is on the top rear of the engine, next to the distributor.
The oil pressure sending unit could be bad. Or the oil pressure gauge could be bad, but normally gauges don't fail............I would have someone check out the oil pressure sending unit.
Right next to the oil filter, it kinda gets in your way when you are replacing the filter.
15 pounds
If you have the 4.2, it is on the passenger side of the engine near where the dipstick enters the block, forward of the starter.
Against the fire wall above the starter on the right side of the vehicle. looks like a big bolt with a electrical connection.
The 6 cylinder oil pressure switch is located on the passenger side rear of the block. It is a single wire connection with a gray/yellow striped wire
Rear of the jeep
