John Lennon - in 1980 (December 8)
He got shot 4 times in the back by Mark David Chapman and one or more of the shots pierced his aorta. (Part of the heart)
He got cremated and it is said some of his ashes were thrown into Strawberry Fields. Yoko is said to have some of it too. Yoko also kept his still bloodstained glasses.
He did not have a funeral, but 10 minutes of worldwide silence.

No. He and the band barely managed to avoid the draft; I believe they turned him away because he seemed undesirable. One member of the band got out of it because Alice shot him in the foot.
Of course he was one of the Beatles. He founded the band. If you're interested, you should definitely check out his solo work, as well as his music with the Beatles. All of his music is AMAZING.Yes
If you meant "shot", yes, one of them got shot; it was John Lennon who died on December 8, 1980 from gunshot wounds.
The Beatles got their start in Germany.
No Metallica member ever got shot... maybe the beatles? Sorry, I was thinking of Pantera. Never Mind
All the remaining Beatles performed a tribute for him.
My sister got RB for her bday, and the mic came with.

Never heard of them! They could be a ripoff/ cover band of The Beatles though. Ringo Starr came up with the name on a whim, the rest said it was cool. In fact the Beatles got along famously until Yoko came along, and all hell broke loose.

ABSOLUTELY! They got together in 1968, and still exist now, even though the band has changed a lot since its original form. They were never as popular as, say, the Beatles, but they were still pretty popular.
The Beatles were The Beatles. They never got other members. When they split up, they split up.
The FIVE original Beatles were John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Stu Sutcliffe and Pete Best (there was an assortment of other members under the band's previous name and formation). Stu left the band after he got engaged to German photographer and friend of The Beatles, Astrid Kirchherr. In 1962 they kicked Pete out and replaced him with Ringo Starr. And from that day forward, the four Beatles wereJohn Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
