Beethoven
Early-romantic; he represented the transition from classical to romantic music. He revolutionized and popularized the art-song, or lieder, and the tone poem.
The six concepts of music are pitch, tone colour, dynamics and expressive techniques, texture, duration and structure
Structure can have different meanings, but Timbre infers tone, not duration
FOUR COMPONENTS OF TONES ARE. . . 1. Timbre- the characteristic quality of a sound independent of pitch and hardness. 2. Intensity-it is the volume or loudness of the vibration of a tone. 3. Pitch-is the degree of high or depth of a tone or a sound. 4. Duration- it is the lenght of time , the tone continuous to remain and audible.
