That I believe would be an opinion based upon how you would want the guitar to feel when you play it. I find Ernie ball, medium gauge to be very warm and have good sustain, and they allow the bar to be very sensitive and accurate. I hope this helps you

∙ 15y agoYou'd probably be better off buying a few packs of different strings and experimenting with them. By my recommendations I'd say Ernie ball slinky's are pretty good for blues.

Why would a guitar not be able to be tuned?
Many reasons, if your using a Floyd rose bridge system then you might of used the wrong gauge strings and this will unbalance the bridge and make it almost impossible to get iy perfectly in tune. Or one the other hand you might just have a cheap guitar or you yourself can not tune it.
