To determine if the Floyd Rose bridge on your guitar is too high, check if the strings are too far from the fretboard, making it difficult to play. If so, you may need to adjust the bridge height for better playability.
The correct Floyd Rose tuning order for optimal pitch stability and performance is to start by tuning the low E string, then the high E string, followed by the A, D, G, and B strings. Finally, fine-tune all strings as needed for precise pitch.
Your guitar strings may be high due to the action being set too high. To lower them and improve playability, you can adjust the truss rod, bridge height, or nut height. It's important to make small adjustments and check the playability after each change.

Conceivably you can put a whammy onto any electrice guitar, but it in reality it is a lot of trouble of modification to do so. Answer: You can really only put a whammy bar on a guitar that has a Floyd Rose tremolo bridge. Most Ibanez guitars come with these standard, although some Fender/Squier guitars have a bridge similar to a Floyd Rose, but only whammy bars made by the Fender will fit in the hole. (at least what I've tried) And it is possible to set up a Floyd Rose on any guitar or bass, it just takes a lot of work, and a lot of knowledge because there are some vital parts in a guitar that you might not know what they're there for, so seek some professional help if you are a little uneasy about modifying your instrument.

It all depends on if you have a locking tremolo. If so, i can help, if not sorry. If you have a locking tremolo (Floyd rose, zr, edge lll, ect) the first step is to loosen the strings so the bridge retractes into the body. Then push down on the whammy bar, lifting the bridge back up, and place any thin object under it, so it stops the brigde from going into the body (i use an Allen wrench). Now tune to whatever tuning you usually use. If your bridge is still sinking back so far that you can't remove the Allen wrench, your spring tension is too high. Open up the back of your guitar and unscrew the screws a little bit, making sure that they're level with each other. Do this until the bridge is either even with the guitar or until you like it. If you're having the opposite problem and your bridge is too far up, loosen the strings a little bit and tighten the screws. Make sure you use the same gauge strings every time you change strings or you will have to do this all again.
