there are "E" flats all over the place, if you mean indavidual notes, not a cord. All you need to do is count the letters as you move your' fingers down the neck. I'll note here that E flats are not ussually called E flats. Instead I call them D sharps. This difference in theory pops up when playing one of many different genre's of music. Here goes an example comparing the traditional blues scale to the other widely used scale.
Blues=A-A#-B-C-C#-D-D#-E-F-F#-G-G#
Pop =Ab-A-Bb-B-Cb-C and so on.
Here's a really simple but important rule to remember. On notes B and E, you'll need to convert a sharp(#) on each or a flat(b) on each.
Take a look at this pic. Remeber, any note can be converted to a sharp or flat so long as you follow through then entire scale with the same sharps and flats. If this is greek please let me know and try a different explination. Good luck.
