Beatles for Sale was the fourth studio album issued by The Beatles. It was recorded on the Parlaphone label and was first released on October 26, 1964.

They always recorded at EMI Studios (which later became Abbey Road after the famous album). Their record label was changed from Parlophone to Apple. Apple was a company started by the Beatles. (Not to be confused with Apple Computers which was started later by Steve Jobs)
Most of their recordings were made for Parlophone Records, an EMI label. Capitol Records was EMI's American branch, and issued most of their records in the US. The Beatles founded their own label, Apple Records, in 1968, as a division of their company Apple Corps. EMI became Apple's distributors.
